The product I am looking at is a 13 inch Deybon Android Auto tablet. This multimedia screen includes everything you need to install it in your car. You can either connect to your car's fuse box or use a 12v cigarette lighter adapter. I recommend using the hardware kit because the screen will automatically start a SOFT shutdown process when the car is turned off, reducing the risk of data corruption Make this tablet more reliable. If you use a 12V cigarette lighter adapter and turn off the car, it immediately turns off HARD as if you pulled the plug from the socket and I think this is bad for your device. This item also comes with a power adapter if you want to install it at home. All settings are saved automatically, so your settings are not lost when you switch off the device. After you turn off the device while the video is playing on the screen and then turn on the device again, the video does not resume from where you stopped it. Audio: Speakers on tablets are loud but lack bass and lots of highs. Treble, bass, middle or balance cannot be adjusted. Luckily, it has a 3.5mm stereo output that can be connected to a speaker. I connected my tablets to 2 JBL Charge 4 speakers and the sound is amazing! bass for the day! There is a USB port that provides enough power to charge the JBL Charge 4. Even after a 10-hour drive with both children listening to music, the battery stays fully charged. The advantage of these tablets is that when the car is turned off, the USB power is cut off and the JBL Charge 4 will turn off automatically after 5 minutes. That makes it convenient. I used a 3.5mm stereo out instead of Bluetooth because Bluetooth doesn't let you send HDMI audio to these speakers while playing on a Sony Playstation 4 or Nintendo for some weird reason I couldn't figure out play switches. However, if you connect via Bluetooth, system sounds, notifications, music from SD card, apps, games, YouTube and Spotify videos will be sent. When connected via Bluetooth, all audio signals are played EXCEPT for the HDMI input. When connected via a 3.5mm stereo jack, the speaker will play ALL audio signals, INCLUDING HDMI inputs. There is no distortion when you crank the volume up and play on a JBL speaker. Video: The video quality of these tablets is excellent. When the screen is black, there's a lot of glare around the edges, but most of the time you won't notice it. You'll only notice this when you're on a black background home screen or playing a dark movie or game. There is almost no noticeable video input lag, but when you send audio to the speakers via Bluetooth, you do experience a 1-second audio lag. When using the 3.5mm output there is no lag at all. I'm very sensitive to lag because I'm a competitive FPS gamer. I'm still dominating Battlefield 1 with this setup on PS4 Pro. Color accuracy is a bit oversaturated, but the colors really pop! And they are still not used for video editing. I can send video and audio from my car stereo with no lag or delay, but the video being sent is not as clear as I would like. Looks like 720pSD instead of 1080pHD, which is to be expected since the connection is composite and limited to SD resolution. Viewing angles are not an issue as each child gets their own screen without having to share it in our family! Interface: These tablets are very fast. Menu navigation is fast and the only problem is that you have to press harder on the screen to recognize your touch. So my guess is that these screens are resistive and not capacitive. The screen comes pre-installed with a protective film. I just left the plastic screen protectors on as they installed perfectly flat and free of any bubbles or debris. Both discs were properly installed at the factory thanks to the protective film. It's essentially an Android tablet, so it can be customized with widgets and skins, but I didn't because the default interface is simple and easy to use. Preinstalled Android version 9. Random reboots and failures haven't happened yet. No complaints from the kids either, they love it! There's also ambient lighting that you can customize, including 8 different colors and off. Structure: The tablet is rock solid after installation. I can drive on bad roads and the tablets don't vibrate or rattle. There's a tilt option, but you can't pan or pan. The USB, power, HDMI, and audio ports are recessed far enough to hide cabling for a clean look. Conclusion: I love this product! Very satisfied. Daybon has thought of everything. A few things I would change are the ability to adjust bass, treble, mid and balance. And a way to continue what you were just doing after restarting the car. Would also add an additional HDMI input so I can stream HD video from the car stereo to tablets. If the next version of these tablets included these features, I would definitely upgrade in a heartbeat! So stop reading this review and buy it now!
