This is normal for some applications. The blades dull very quickly which makes cutting easier (yes I did). Luckily you can get 20 for a small price. Don't skimp on something as delicate as dermaplaning (lesson learned). If you are new to this practice, they can be used until you feel more comfortable. Once you get the hang of it, using a better and sharper tool can result in a closer shave/exfoliation. There are a few small 'teeth' on the blade which I believe are for safety but due to these you cannot fully use the blade itself. In general, they are suitable for practice, but only for a few (maybe no more than 3) uses.
