This system left controversial impressions. I also have a Beolit ​​17 speaker that has a completely different philosophy and content. But my purely individual opinion - for 35 thousand you will not find anything better in terms of sound. It calmly "pulls out" everything that falls short of Beosound 1. The latter leaves the feeling of an intellectual who does not touch the "dirty" basses.

Pros

1. The appearance of a bomb, in the truest sense of the word, is very similar to a warhead. Fits almost anywhere you can't put it. 2. The sound is good on a specific palette of compositions. Compositions go well without a significant load on low frequencies, namely: classical, guitar, jazz, soul, electronic, etc. 3. Very well suited for ambient sound, for example, if you have a common space in the office, or during yoga classes, or just in the background of a classic. 4. Built-in streaming services. I found more than one song, which is now in my own playlist. 5. Limited but portability. There is a built-in battery, which in my practice has never sat down when moved around the apartment and used without a cable. At the same time, you don’t want to wear this exhibit back and forth often, because then you need to properly wipe it from fingerprints: the speaker always catches the eye.

Cons

1. From the very beginning, I felt that, as if BS1, someone had set a limiter on the level of feedback / loudness from the speaker. In terms of bass, it's clear - this is their linearization technology, so that nothing wheezes. But in terms of mid frequencies, in my opinion, this is the problem of trying to combine too much in one speaker: the top and middle in the high-frequency unit (they write that it is full-range), the middle and bottom on the low-frequency unit (similarly). As a result, we have a mono speaker, again, as stated. The pain here is that you expect a lot more because of the price. 2. Price (no comment). Of course, this is an attribute of the company, but in this case I did not feel that the sound for this money is perfect (IMHO). There are alternatives with better sound and less money even in the B&O line.
