Review on 💡 Sengled Dimmable LED Bulb: Achieve Equivalent Brightness with Dimming Control by Mike Ewing

Very disappointed with these. The brightness was ok but the basic smart bulb functions don't work because it doesn't adjust no matter what I try. A simple Alexa setup isn't easy and doesn't work. The only simple thing is that Alexa just doesn't recognize them. I tried downloading the Sengled app and setting up the bulbs that way. The instructions were easy to follow, the light flashes 3 times and the app asks me if I can see it. I answer yes to that. It then keeps trying to connect and then fails. I tried all four bulbs. I get blinks and then I can't complete the setup. Tried to reset and flash everything again, doesn't help. Something like this should be quick and easy and I can only conclude that the app or the lightbulbs aren't working or both. I'd add that they're about 12 feet from my wi-fi network device and I can see full signal bars standing where the lights are, so it's not a bad signal. I bought these because I was impressed with my E26 smart bulb, which was recognized by Alexa right after you screwed it in and turned it on and didn't require any real setup. But these e12 bulbs just don't work as advertised.
