Review on πŸ“¦ Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Trunk Organizer, Customizable Storage, Removable Base (Black), Interior Organizer - 38 Inches by Quinton Dawon

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Owns 3 weeks and already has building problems!

I've spent a lot of time reading reviews on Revain to find the perfect trunk storage box. This one was a lot more expensive than most but I was able to pay that amount as it felt a lot heavier and I figured it would last a few years. However, I only had 3 THREE! Weeks and he's already in trouble. I pulled it out of the back of my SUV (it was stored flat the whole time) to pack for a hike and noticed the thick vinyl edging on the bottom was peeling! Didn't have time to order another one as I'm leaving tomorrow so I just took some industrial grade epoxy, re-glued it and secured with clips while it dried. I ended up gluing about 12 inches and also noticed a 3 inch area on the side where the binding also fits. It also needs to be glued. The epoxy seems to be holding for now but some of the glue seeped through and got onto the outer mesh pocket so that pocket is now a little glued on the bottom. Mind you, I've only had it for about 3 weeks and in that time it has NOT been used. Also, the temperature in April fluctuated between 60 and 80C, so you can't blame it on the excessive heat causing the glue to come out. I live in Texas, so I'm very concerned about how this cargo box will perform in late summer when rates are often in the triple digits. I am very unhappy that this happened because of the high price I paid for it. As I said, I would definitely send it back if I didn't have to use it tomorrow. Just hoping my glue job holds up and wondering how much glue I'll have to make in the future!
