Neat board for beginners. I'm 25 years old, 140 lbs, shoe size 12. I found the 7.75 board a little small for me and personally I would recommend starting with an 8 or 8.25 if you have large feet. This helps with stability and makes learning to ride easier. I also discovered as soon as I opened the box that the wheels and bearings on this board are complete junk. After a few rides, the concrete has started to eat away at the edges of the wheels and you can't go more than a few feet without a dent. I spent an extra $30 on some Shake Junt bearings and a set of Bones wheels and now she rides like a dream. If you are just starting to learn to skate, this is a good learning board. You can beat this board while saving up for a nicer board. If you're serious about skateboarding, you should definitely check out your local store and buy a better board with the best specs.
