I had no idea music sounded like this! Over the years I've only used the headphones that came with every phone I've bought over the years. I have an old pair of SkullCandy Titans which I consider to be the pinnacle of sound since I bought them about a decade ago. So I've hardly used them over the years to keep them in good condition and use them sparingly. As soon as I started using whatever came with my phones, I realized the Titans sounded like crap. Now that I got my LG G8 I wanted to put this DAC to good use as all the headphones I had didn't use it so after some research I bought the E80. And holy shit! Everything I had that sounded great to me now sounds flat, empty and washed out compared to the E80. It feels like I'm hearing all the music I've listened to my entire life for the first time. It's the sonic equivalent of seeing a 1080p display for the first time. This is HD audio. Everything is so fresh and clean. There's plenty of bass, but it doesn't drown out everything around it. That's great. I left out of the box the medium sized rubber tips they already had on them and they fit my ears perfectly so I can't comment on the Comply tips. Will definitely be taking a second pair to keep in the box in case something happens to the first pair. Very happy with it!
