Review on 🌬️ Fan-Tastic Vent RV Roof Vent Model 3350 - White, Manual and Automatic Speed 12 Volt RV Vent Fan with Thermostat, Smoke Dome RV Vent Cover by Jorge Maertz

I've had this ventilation for three years. I felt it shouldn't have lasted that long, even with minimal use, and it doesn't. Let's see, the rain sensor corrodes easily and automatically closes the vent even in clear, dry desert conditions. It often closes completely dry. Support told me to clean it, which helped for a few days. The cheap plastic cover around the engine broke in a few places just from the torque of the engine trying again and again to close the breather cover that was already closed. I think it's the rain sensor. Support was kind enough to send a free replacement board which was easy to install but that was not the cause of the problem. Further attempts to gain support resulted in excessive deliberation. I have other complaints about the design, but that vent has become completely useless as the motor now spins freely with the lid closed. Next I'll try to pot the broken plastic with epoxy but I'm looking for a marine grade vent.
