Very cool craft concept!

I have been involved with art forms and paperwork (like collages) for many years, but I have never heard of quilling. This quilling kit contains everything you need to get started, from 2 full sets of colorful paper strips to tools, instructions for creating shapes and 10 different projects ranging from very easy to moderately difficult. It's a great affordable gift and a fun, soothing conversation that's probably like coloring, maybe even better. It's also fun to experiment with different shapes, and you can always unfold the paper, roll it back up, and start over. I'm writing this from the point of view of an adult with creative experience, so some of the projects seemed a bit simplistic to me, but if you didn't have experience or would give it to a child, the pleasure of creating simple shapes and building more complex ones would be satisfying . I decided to "go crazy" and skip all the projects listed and my first project would be to build a yellow 1950 GMC pickup as a birthday card for my dad who is in the process of doing it. I hope I can buy quilling paper refills but they give you a lot which I appreciate so it will probably take quite a while to finish. If you like handicrafts, try it! and let my first project be a 1950 yellow GMC pickup as a birthday card for my dad, who is at it. I guess so likely it will take some time to finish.
