This product was great and offers a fun use of gel pads. The molds are the perfect size and I love that it comes with 3 different molds. (Each one is about the size of my palm.) They can also be good for little hands. I work as an art therapist and clients use them and they really enjoy playing with different designs. It's best to be near running water or a bowl of water to clear your plates. Depending on how much paint is used, you can use plenty of paper towels to clean up without using a lot of water. Paint takes a little to cover the surface - 2-3 small drops - much more and gets dirty quickly. If you don't have a thorn bush, a brush to cover the slab will also work. I would suggest washing the plates immediately after each use. Some colors may smudge the plate slightly, but this does not affect performance. I keep the records between the acetate records they came in and keep them in a plastic container.
