Review on Adidas Adizero Men's Shoes in White Copper Black - Athletic Footwear by Young Rich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great pumps, best in sporty style

First a word of caution: I have wide feet so many shoes run small for me. I bought them a full size larger than I usually wear and they fit perfectly. Nike discontinued the tennis shoes I wore for racquetball, squash and handball, so I went in search of a replacement. I'm a huge Adidas fan and regularly visit their staff store here in Portland, Oregon. When I saw that they have a similar pair I decided to give it a try. This is my third pair and they do their job perfectly. The wide base provides excellent stability during quick sideways movements and prevents twisting of the ankle on bad landings. Grip with the standard palm is fantastic and the material is so thin it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything. Cons: There are a few caveats, but again some...usually 4 hours a day, 3 days a week, so I wear off each shoe pretty quickly. I would say I change them about every 6-9 months. My last pair had a small tear from the bottom of the sole off the top on the outside of one boot - I suspect it was a manufacturing defect but the shoes were nearing end of life at this point so I just replaced them you. My current pair is losing one of the stripes, which isn't a big deal, but I'm reluctant to rip it off because adidas shoes with two stripes would look a bit odd. Small catch but my experience with other adidas products (shirts and shorts) is that the material they use for these accent stripes doesn't last all that long when worn - after 12-15 wash cycles the stripes on their shirts also tend to to lose grip. with a shirt. Overall I love this shoe for what I need to protect myself from injury and give me the grip and support to compete at a high level.

Pros
  • Rubber sole
Cons
  • Too long to wait
