Works great with own brand. I bought a charger to go with it and it works great. It didn't work with my other brands of wireless chargers so you have to buy another part to go with it, but the price is still cheaper than other brands and it works great for me. Make sure it is compatible with your device. I use this for my iPad Pro 12.9. The description indicates which devices are compatible and also differ. I am happy with this purchase.
