I confess, first when my order of two arrived in a rather small Amazonian envelope, and then I opened it and found two small thin rectangular boxes the size of a Christmas light string, my heart sank as I thought oh man the whole tree should be in THIS? What a rip off! But I open the first box and pull everything out and lo and behold there is a whole tree in each box and OMG I LOVE YOU. I bought pearl sized lights on either side of my bed and they instantly transformed my room into a place I wanted to sit all night. They give off a soft whitish amber glow (the photos don't even show how pretty and how the whole room glows with them) and honestly I wouldn't mind having one in another room now. I read all the reviews before purchasing and many people have complained that they were surprised to find that the trunk and branches were only wrapped in gold foil tape, but this is clearly visible in the product photos and I assure you this detracts from that not and they look good exactly as advertised. My only complaint, which is just my insanely picky one, is that I wish the base had the ability to tie the tree in either direction because I wanted the trunks on either side of my bed to face opposite directions. But that's my personal weird problem, not trees. If you're looking for something inexpensive to instantly make a room 1000% more amazing, I highly recommend it. I might buy even more as gifts. It's daytime and I turned them back on. because they are so adorable. Hooray. 😊
