Doesn't support Thunderbolt 3 monitor connection
I have a beautiful LG UltraFine 5K display. The Thunderbolt 3 cable connects to and charges my MacBook. I just upgraded from a 2016 4 port MBP to a 2 port MBP Air. I really need two ports. but it worries me to no end that the audio output is on the opposite side of the laptop from the ports because I like to save space and put my laptop on a stand on my desk. Since this module has an audio jack, I was hoping I could use it to connect to my monitor and audio out, but it didn't support that. I will say that the build quality seemed very good. I have not tested other functions.
