I wanted a key fob cover to prevent my 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe tailgate from accidentally opening (initially). I accidentally activated the trunk button a couple of times when the fob was in the same pocket as my keys, and it would have been semi-disastrous (for my wallet) if it happened while the SUV was in the garage. A solution might be to mechanically disable or remove the faulty fob button. It's difficult and destructive for that particular keychain. Another option is to isolate the keys by placing the key fob in a protective case. I bought one for myself and one for my wife to keep in my wallet separate from my house keychain. I am satisfied that this quality product meets my needs.
