Review on 🌬️ Efficient Eva-dry E-333 Mini Dehumidifier, Pack of 1, in Classic White Sand - Get Rid of Excess Moisture! by Anne Franson

I purchased one of these items 9 months prior to writing this review. My first experience with this device was positive as I noticed a significant drop in humidity levels. I keep it in a roughly 24 cu ft gun safe that has a gold rod heater and circulating fan and internal and external temperature/humidity sensors that I have calibrated. I wanted to see if I could lower the humidity. I live in northern Illinois where summers are wet and winters are dry. Initially, the crystals had to be recharged every two weeks, but over time this window became shorter and shorter. After nine months, the crystals no longer change from blue to amber, and according to my sensors, the Eva Dri device does not affect humidity. The guarantee is five years, but registration must be made within 30 days of purchase, which I failed to do through my own fault. I don't know if other devices are the same, so this is a review of the device I bought. CAUTION: These devices are designed to be plugged into a standard 120V household outlet for charging. In my experience as an electrician, I have found that any appliance that plugs into the mains and gets hot can pose a fire hazard if it overheats. This also applies to commercially available room fragrances. The safest way to charge these devices is to use an extension cord, place the device on a concrete floor or other non-combustible area, and charge it.
