Buttons, and in particular - the ring - like a toy. Tactilely on the G9, the buttons are much better and nicer. At the same time, for some reason they are pressed on the GH5 with a click (hello, sound recording), and on the G9, which is supposedly more for photography, everything is quiet, both the wheel and the buttons. But on the G9, they cut out the total remaining time for recording video on cards, 10bit, and even little things. 7. When the display brightness is set to full, after the start of recording, if the camera is not touched, then the brightness automatically decreases. It is worth touching the lens or anything else - again it becomes bright to the fullest. It is clear that this is battery saving, but terribly annoying. I have a lot of batteries, let me decide for myself whether to save! Every time you think, whether something is wrong with the light, or the exposure has gone astray. I had to put it back on auto brightness. 8. Why, why, at the very moment of manual ISO selection (unless it is displayed directly on the wheel), does the zebra turn off? I'm used to generally orienting myself in the exposition by zebra, and nothing prevents it from always being displayed! But no. You need to put the ISO, exit the installation, look at the zebra, enter again, exit again . What is it . Otherwise, they are excellent cameras, given the size of the sensor, noise, and so on, which has already been written about a lot. It is a pity that point 1 completely crosses out the possibility of shooting a report either on the GH5 or on the G9.

Before you start recording - please, but if the subject has moved and you need to refocus, then stop recording, zoom in and continue. And if it's impossible, if it's a reportage? How to focus something? Just don't talk about Peaking - it works according to the contrast principle, and being guided by it, you can generally think that the focus is on the striped wall behind, and not on the person. Both levels of picking - and both are not usable. And so on all cameras: peaking can only help in some ideal conditions, or for those who see poorly - to at least somehow bring focus. Accurately direct - you can only with an increase. It is perfectly done in this camera, you can choose the scale, you can expand it to full screen, but . Only not when recording. Since you can't rely on autofocus either, all that's left is an external monitor. Which also does not fit, because what's the point then in a mirrorless camera in general, what kind of compactness are we talking about then? Interestingly, this feature is almost never written about. I found something not on the 2022-speaking Internet, and even that is not enough. In a7s2, a6500 - everything worked when recording too. 2. There is no possibility of fixing autoexposure. More precisely, it is, but only if the aperture or shutter speed is in auto mode. And if they are in manual mode, and in auto only ISO - then that's it. For some reason, auto-ISO does not count as auto-exposure! Although no, it is considered - because the exposure compensation wheel can still be used! That is - one thing can be done, and the other - no. What is the logic? 3. To set the minimum and maximum ISO limit, you need to go to the menu. Neither in the quick menu, nor on the buttons, nor even on the quick tabs - this can not be displayed. In addition, the adjustment steps are 200, 400, 800 . And if you need a smaller step, what should you do? 4. A bunch of custom buttons, but none of them can be switched between manual and autofocus. Only a lever. Although, given that autofocus is still almost useless, that's okay .
