Review on RIPURI Classic Stainless Backpacking Emergency Outdoor Recreation in Camping & Hiking by Brian Potter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for turning regular water into a more comfortable drinking solution.

Fits bike bottle cage. It's also good to carry in your backpack, car or anywhere else to turn water into something more comfortable to drink. In our area, city water comes from full-flowing rivers from farmland to farmland, and treated with chemicals, the water is not always pleasant to drink. While water purification containers help, they also take time to filter to drink. This Ripuri filtration can be drunk by filling a stainless steel bottle. No expectations. After decades of using plastic water bottles, using the stainless steel version took some getting used to. You cannot squeeze the container to hold water and there is no straw at the bottom. So a large floor that slopes upwards to drink from. It would be interesting if Ripuri made a stainless steel bottle with a filter at the bottom and a straw between the spout and the filter at the bottom. This would make it easier for other people with disabilities to use the water. Although Ripuri can change the taste of water, it is not intended to remove microorganisms or potentially unsafe water without first disinfecting the water. Therefore, this water bottle filtration is only limited to drinking water. It is possible to fill a Ripuri water bottle into most portable water sources and brew a more enjoyable drink up to 300 liters before needing the available replacement filter. Stainless steel water bottles can take a lot of abuse, used in many environments and even used to boil water when needed. A larger version of the Ripuri may therefore be required for hiking and camping.
