Easy to cross!
I just installed but wanted to let others know about a design issue. 3/4" female plastic pipe threads do not taper properly and can easily cross when installing short fittings. I recommend installing/removing a piece of at least 8" pipe at a right angle to install the thread path and to open before installing shorter fittings. if applicable. Otherwise cut off the plastic threads as you will not be able to hold the short elbow when installing. It will be some time before I can report how effective this filter is. I will report later.
