The advantage of these vacuum sealed steel bottles is that they keep drinks hot or cold for a long time. The advantage of this plastic bottle is that it is lighter than steel bottles and fits well in your everyday bag, better than those fancy steel bottles. Because I like the temperature of the water in my room, this plastic bottle is so much better for me than the fancy ones that cost twice as much. In addition, this one can be washed in the dishwasher, while steel is not. So if you're deciding between this and one of those "drinking accessories," take a close look at this one. The simplicity of the design makes it attractive and highly functional.
