It is becoming increasingly difficult to find socks that are 100% cotton or close to it. This is compliant. After washing in hot water and bleach for the last 2 months these socks have retained their brilliant white colour, shape and fabric quality. However, I would only recommend them for NARROW feet. The band around the instep is quite tight. I bought these for my mom who has a high instep and wears regular width (B or medium) shoes in a size 9. They were too tight and extremely uncomfortable for her. She gave them to me because I have very narrow feet (A, AA or narrow shoes). They fit just right. I'm looking for a more relaxed style in the same brand as we're happy with everything else about the sock.
