Review on SMAKN® Pigtail Cable Jumper Cable by Derek Dolla

SMAKN brand cable arrived repeatedly folded with tight bends packed in a small package. Coaxial cables are not designed for such tight bends. It destroys the braided shield and pinches the dielectric insulator, changing the cable's impedance characteristics. The cable now has permanent bends. It should be rolled up like in the picture. Also, there is no RG-58 designation anywhere on the cable. The cable ends are second rate. When twisting the end of a BNC cable, it appears rough; not smooth like a good plug. The insulator in the BNC connector also has a crack. The tension equalization of the shrink tube is minimal. I just found out that MPD Digital makes this cable 3 feet long (up to about 3m). I'm returning this and buying an MPD Digital cable as their cables are great.
