My (not quite) 6 month old LOVES this spoon. He wouldn't stop reaching for the regular spoon during feedings and we were afraid he'd stick it down his throat - it was a constant struggle as his hand tried on one end of the spoon and ours on the other, something to have control. This utensil has a safety guard to prevent it from being pushed too far in the mouth and it works fantastic! My child is more than happy to eat with some independence. Pros: Easy to clean Fits small hands well Promotes self-efficacy and independence Kid happy! Cons: Feeding is messier (but worth it IMO)
