While looking for replacement cartridges for my Epson XP-640, I came up with the idea of simply refilling empty cartridges and saving some money in the process. I came across these inks and they were a great price. I decided to give them a chance. If it didn't work I would just return the item and get a refund or be left without the $15 and change. When they arrived they came in a box and were neatly packaged. I didn't use needles because I couldn't figure out exactly where to place the needles in the cartridges I have. All ink cartridges worked except regular black ink (not photo black, this one worked). I tried to add more, it didn't work, I removed a little, it still doesn't work. I keep getting an error message on my printer that the black ink cartridge needs to be replaced. So instead of constantly frustrating myself with black ink, I decided to buy a new black ink cartridge for my printer and be done with it. I have enough ink left to refill 3 more ink cartridges.
