I have 11 cards and 4 paper cards in this wallet. I've been using it for a few weeks now and no signs of wear, no issues with the stitching or zipper. It has everything I need including credit/debit cards, medical cards, insurance cards, loyalty cards and driver's licenses. I don't see the point of using a smaller wallet that doesn't fit all the cards you plan to carry. With this wallet in the front pocket I feel much safer than with the note compartment. You can slip a few bills in, but I don't carry many and use a money clip instead. I had to be picky, I would suggest making the card dividers a bit shorter so there are more cards to grab when trying to pull a card from the wallet.
