My flushing wand was obviously smudged and needed replacing. I like Scotch-Brite glasswash rods with curved ends, cookware bends, and many other uses I've found. That meant I had to replace the Scotch-Brite, which considering how long I've been using my current wand, isn't bad at all. I ordered this item with two sticks and of course I'm glad they arrived so quickly. It seems that once I find something looking this messy, at least by my picky standards, every time I use it it looks a lot worse. Quick unpacking from the box. I started preparing it for use. The first thing I noticed was that the new wand's handle is shorter than the previous one. So far this hasn't been a problem. The second change she noticed was the "button" on the handle, and she marveled at its function. It actually has nothing to do with its function, but serves as a place to put your thumb or index finger. For me, this makes the stick feel more secure and prevents it from slipping when the stick gets wet. All in all a very good buy.
