I've wanted to buy these glasses for a long time, but one morning I decided to grit my teeth after waking up with severe neck pain after a night of reading with my head thrown back on the pillow. They work as I expected. I don't need a pillow to read. They fit well, the headphones don't pinch. Once put on, it takes quite a while to get used to how to hold a book/tray/craft so you can see without straining your muscles. There are several things that caused them to deduct a star. One is weight. I understand that there is glass and it makes it heavy, but over time I get a little bit of pain on the bridge of my nose if I wear them for too long. One way to reduce nose strain is to position the top of the glasses between the eyebrows. It takes a little getting used to, but it works for me. Second, there is a slight difference in vision between the lenses. My brain basically smooths out and ignores the difference, and I'm not even sure if there's a way to fix it. But it's noticeable if I pay attention (and my book doesn't capture my attention). Overall I'm glad I have them. I use them almost every night to read, check the weather, or email on my phone or tablet. Even watch TV.
