Review on 👟 ASICS Gel-Nimbus Lite 2 Running Shoes for Men by Michael Hawkins

I was very excited about this shoe as I have started running again after many, many years (I ran on the cross country team about ten years ago). After reading many reviews I chose these shoes for longer runs (hoping for cushioning and durability). Unfortunately I was very disappointed. First the advantages: The shoe is true to size, has a lot of cushioning and looks cool. Now for the cons: the shoes get very hot on my feet (if you're in a warmer climate I wouldn't even consider these shoes - they were terrible for Florida). I get blisters on the tops of my feet from these shoes when wearing socks that are not visible. Not sure why as I have not had blisters in this area from any other shoe I have worn. I have found that wearing quarter socks solves this problem; this makes the foot in these shoes even warmer. In addition, these shoes carry a lot of weight when running. I think if you live in a cold climate, don't like socks without socks, need loads of padding and don't care about the weight of these shoes, then these might fit. After a month of testing I would not buy these shoes again. This is probably one of the most expensive and disappointing shoes I've ever bought. As I cannot return them I will try to use them for at least six months before switching to another pair.
