Review on SWET Vintage Revolving Polyurethane Furniture by George Jacobson

I can now move heavy coffee tables in the trunk to clean underneath

This is an overview of cookie cutters as I will be using two sets of these rollers except one set was with brakes and the other was not. The carpeting underneath was recently replaced with tiles. Before this change, we had carpet gliders under two heavy suitcases/coffee tables to keep them out of the way while vacuuming. Forward a moment to the tiles and the sliders still worked, but moving the boot was noticeably more difficult. Enter casters, since I've spotted them for some garage shelves I can't wait to see where else to put them. I mentioned the idea to my wife and she agreed but said they should look good with a coffee table. A quick search here and I came across these antique style ball casters. They were the same height as the original coffee table legs and didn't look like the regular wheels I bought. I bought two sets, one with creases and one without; They didn't have a two piece kit. The package came immediately, box in box and rolls individually wrapped. No screws, which is fine because I was going to use my own anyway. The screws that come with most products these days are not as good as the ones you get at the hardware store. The casters have stalled now I can easily move these heavy things out of the trunk/coffee table to sweep under. They look good despite being a bit smaller than the original thick legs they used to have. They have plastic wheels, not rubber, so you can hear them roll. This lack of rubber coverage also leads to my only complaint about these ball casters. Even with the brakes on, you can move your upper body with minimal effort, I mean minimal. There are likely several factors that contribute to brake inefficiency. Solid, smooth tiles and hard, smooth, rounded plastic ball casters create a low-friction stage. This may not be the case if you have suitable hardwood floors. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the switch to coffee tables. They don't look bad underneath and they do exactly what I wanted them to do, move heavy furniture for easier cleaning.

Pros
  • 1. Material: These swivel wheels are made of polyurethane. Polyurethane wheels stand securely on low-pile carpets or other hard-wearing floor coverings.
