There are other cheaper plastic marble sets that I have used in elementary school classes that easily cracked, broke, or just fell apart with minimal play, but this one stood the test. withstood the rigors of our own children's everyday play in recent months without any signs of breakage. This is a really solid construction made from thick plastic. There are many different figures, each time they are put on the field you get a different marble path. The last marbles we bought to replace the originals were a bit too big (I still don't know where those original marbles went) but they can be pushed into hard-to-reach places and everyone (even me) plays still happy with that you. Great toy. ! Very educational as the children think about how to assemble the balloons from all the parts from top to bottom.
