My husband LIVES in these sandals. When he's not working, he wears them. He has very flat feet, these sandals have some arch support so he can wear them comfortably all day. This is actually his second pair, the first pair was only taken out of service after 4 years and the new pup uses them as chew toys. I should note that they slip a little on the bottom the first few times you put them on, but that goes away quickly.
