My bulldog has interdigital cysts on his front paws. For the antibiotic ointment treatment, we needed something to keep her gauze clean and prevent her from licking. These socks work great. I have tried others and they have worked as a temporary solution but not in the long term. The elastic seam in the middle of the sock really prevents it from falling off the foot. The strap is also great because it's always attached so you don't lose it. Two recommendations to make this product even better: 1.) Provide a simple, one-piece, waterproof boot cover that can be slipped on and off to allow the pups to walk. outside on the potty without taking off your socks and without fear of getting them wet. 2.) Apply traction material to both sides of the toe. When the dog leans on the toe while walking, the paw pad will shift and twist regardless of whether the Velcro is attached at the top or not. If you install traction on both sides, then in this case you will not have to constantly adjust them.
