My son persuaded me to get him a strap first and I had to show him how to attach/sew on the extra strap so it doesn't stretch or bother him while he's wearing his. With this bag that's no problem. Multiple pockets, the ability to swap out the strap, the ability to wear the bag on the chest or on the back - choice, choice, choice! I find it comfortable to wear when driving (no long distances**) and makes shopping less stressful as I am not tied to my cart thanks to the wallet left in the cart. Being a bag lover I'm excited to buy a few more (I mean come on the penguin drawing can't be my ONLY one). If you are looking for a shoulder bag for everyday use or bought this bag for future trips (one day I will finally make that trip to the UK/Ireland) I would highly recommend this bag. I can easily carry my reMarkable tablet, my Kindle Fire, my wallet, my glasses case(s) (sunglasses and regular), a small first aid kit, a small medicine pod, lipsticks, a power bank, headphones, a stun gun and much more accommodate I need. missing because those are things I throw away but most people don't use. It's worth it!
