Bought this bag specifically for a trip to Costa Rica and it fits perfectly. I knew we were going to be hiking a lot and I didn't want a school bag/camera bag slamming on my hip or the whole load on just one shoulder, but I needed easy access to my camera. This bag was not only extremely functional, but also very beautiful. The side pockets are big enough to hold a water bottle if you want to keep it open, which came in handy on our long hikes. The compartments inside are removable and adjustable so you can customize them to suit your needs or remove them entirely to use the entire backpack as one compartment. I was able to fit my camera, 3 lenses, 2 spare batteries, 3 lens hoods and a few other small accessories with no problem, plus I was able to fit snacks on top, sunscreen, bug spray, first aid kit etc. The shoulder straps and back are very padded , which makes the backpack very comfortable. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a comfortable, efficient, durable and beautiful camera bag.
