Review on Mirkit USB FTDI Programming Cable Model 3 Black For Flashing Analogue Ham Radio: Baofeng by Uriel Arocha

I'm not new to programming Baofeng radios with different USB cables - it always feels like hours of chanting and dancing to get most cables working on a new PC. However, with this cable I plugged it in, waited a few minutes for my Windows 10 PC to automatically find/install the driver and everything worked great. The first two radios I programmed were my old UV-5Rs and UV-5REs; Both didn't work very well and were easy to program. The next radio was one of my new UV-5RTPs. At first I couldn't connect to this radio - knowing the cable was fine I fiddled with it a bit - disconnected and reconnected several times. Still no luck. Finally, I happened to notice that the radio connector didn't seem to be completely parallel to the side of the radio. I firmly pressed the wire which was only a few millimeters notched and I was able to successfully connect and program this radio as well. I am very impressed with this cable, it is the easiest I have ever used, I have indicators on the connector and the build quality is impressive. I hope this cable will last a very long time. I couldn't be happier.
