He was in it about 10 seconds after it was put together (very easy, smooth) and I think he's probably still in it 14 hours later. It weighs around 16 pounds, so if your cat is less, uh, burly, she'll likely find it EVEN more comfortable. I was a little confused by the fabric covering which feels a bit like foam but feels very strong and cats haven't tried eating it yet. Highly recommended.
