The price is right, but I had no idea that the internal temperature of the cooler depends on the outside temperature. We keep our house at about 72 so the cooler is about 42 inside. Thought of putting it in the garage for a quick chilled drink, but it's even hotter in there. I would drink drinks at over 50 degrees. Finally, the only thing I could think of was keeping it in my car for day trips to the beach. But then everything gets hot as soon as I stop the car. With the same success, you can use a needle and an ice pack. In the end I just returned it. The inability to maintain an even temperature is an Achilles heel. You'll have to switch from solid-state to vapor compression (or just "dorm fridge") to get a consistent temperature of 40 degrees or less so nothing goes bad. You also get noise and size, so back to the drawing board for me.
