Compact M12 battery was completely empty when received. I tried to charge it but the charger said bad battery. I called Milwaukee Service and they asked for a serial number on the top of the battery. The date code indicated it was made in June 2020. Was asked if they would just replace the battery due to the difficulty of packing and shipping. Since I bought it through Revain from a third party, Milwaukee said the best option would be to find a Milwaukee service center to have it replaced under warranty. I haven't found anyone within reasonable distance (need scissors for work NOW) willing to replace him. I have never bought Milwaukee tools and will never buy again. Update: The service center charged using an old charger. In her opinion, he was so hard fired that he needed a "start". Now everything works fine.
