I've thought about getting an immersion blender for a long time - usually every time I try to pour boiling liquid into the blender. I finally broke down and bought this on Prime Day. To be honest I'm really surprised how often I use it. I assume this is going to be one of those "disposable" kitchen tools that sits around most of the year, but I've found use for it at least once a week since I've had it. I especially love the whisk attachment - scrambled eggs have never been so lazy! When you're done, simply toss the whisk attachment in the dishwasher - there's no need to hand wash mixers. I don't know how this hand blender differs from others, but I do know that it's easy to use, easy to clean, and blends everything I've tried blending.
