That's VERY small. I had to look at the measurements so I guess it's my fault but the pictures and even the reviews are a bit misleading. I have no idea what you would actually use that for. I didn't want to return it because I hate it so I was just trying to figure out what I could use it for. I decided to just make her tray closed. I'll end up picking something better and then probably throwing it away. I don't even think I'd want to use a gerbil for that. He is thin and small. Better get an aquarium if you want something different than the cages they sell. I have no idea how people keep their rabbits in it. Mine can move and bounce the pin slightly (I originally set that up). I'm giving it two stars because it's not complete bullshit. I just don't recommend it. Honestly, it shouldn't cost you more than $15. I feel left out lol
