I expected it to feel softer, but it does the job. It's good and it helps keep my hair out of the way. And then when i'm done having it up, I take it down and it's a thin shawl for me lol. So glad I finally got one. I've never done my hair like this my whole life - I'm not black, I'm hmong, but sad to hear and see that not many hmong people put our hair up like this anymore. We used to always put our hair up with shawls/wrapped in fabric, but I have no idea how to do it the traditional hmong way so as long as the hair is wrapped up for me and out of the way and my hair doesn't always have to be pulled together with hair products and tight hairties, it's good.
