Aluminum base plugged into base

Very bad. Screwing in was very difficult, a lot of effort, the threads in the aluminum base were not properly formed. Tried twice. The base had no electrical contact as it was not fully screwed. When I took it out to try a second one, the metal base separated from the plastic and wouldn't get stuck in the ceramic mount. Now I have no light until we fix it another day. I need needle nose pliers to remove the loosening metal thread. Buy elsewhere - not recommended - cheap and defective.
