Review on Griffith Daypack by Case Logic - Optimal Laptop Backpacks for Everyday Use by Amber Westbrooks

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I expected a lot from the description but wasn't satisfied.

First of all I have to say that this backpack is very soft so it protects your laptop from almost everything. Cooler for lunch and a stunning ergonomic design that makes you feel like you're not carrying any weight, but it's useless to us because the padding makes the usable space too small. My son couldn't fit his 1" loose-leaf portfolio into the laptop compartment (it fits perfectly into other laptop backpacks). I'm not talking about a dedicated sleeve, I'm talking about the entire back zippered compartment. You'll have to force it. It fits into the second main compartment for Front of the backpack but doesn't leave room for anything other than two thin notebooks.balanced when full, or at least can be forced to lean back against something. It can't.The main compartment on the back doesn't open wide and is not easy to access. The one closer to the front opens wide, but the curvature of the zipper makes you stop and move your hand about 3-4 times along the way, and it feels like it's stuck, although it's not a smooth sliding motion I was very impressed with the Case Logic backpack I for myself: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002J9HBSE?ps c=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX 0DER and decided to try Case Logic for my son, but while the VNB-217 is very roomy, doesn't look bulky, is well padded and every compartment is easily accessible, Griffith Park doesn't offer all of that except stuffing.
