I am an old man, but I have chosen a colorful bracelet for my wrist. The colors are not superfluous and it is very practical. The ends of the wristband snapped easily onto my Fitbit 4 charger. However, I had an issue that I was able to easily resolve. Since the stretch is limited, which I expected, I had to slide quite a bit of the tape down my arm when I take it off to shower. This extra length, when on my wrist, allowed the Fitbit not to properly touch my skin to read and send information to my smartphone. To solve this problem, I cut a 2 1/2 piece out of black rubber kitchen cabinet mat and roll it to about 1/4 inch thick, which is slightly narrower than the width of the tape itself. I then have it with me Tape wrapped to secure the roll and prevent the rubber from touching the skin. I then inserted it between the strap and the bottom of my wrist. Now the Fitbit is protected from skin contact, reads the information and transmits it easily to my smartphone. A human would have to look very closely to even see my correction. I'm happy with that. This additional information is intended to correct my previous comments above. After using the strap with the padding sandwiched between the wrist and the strap, I felt the padding slip out from under the strap. This also happened after making another, thicker spacer. I couldn't figure out how to hold the spacer in place. Because of this, I went back to using the strap that came with the watch.
