Nice radio 306 sounds so nice! Local AM bands are a pleasure to listen to and FM stations sound crisp, clear and bright. Excellent! Features I love about this radio: * The sound quality from this portable device is amazing. * Operating time with 2 AA batteries. is 100 hours!* The metal speaker grille on the front looks fantastic.* Separate on/off switch. Not part of the volume dial.* Carrying handle.* FM and AM reception is decent, not outstanding, but decent.* Dial is well separated and easy to read.* Fit and finish is Sony quality. Excellent. Features that could be added or improved: * Bass boost button or some sort of tone control for FM. * DC input jack. This radio is big enough to take advantage of it.* Get rid of the glossy finish. All in all, run out and buy one before it sells out. This is one of my best sounding portables in its price range. Enjoy your new radio!
