This kettle worked great for nut milk and water until it blew out my lighter on the fourth use. I replaced the fuse in my car and found that it actually fried the block itself. Not worth the hassle or the extra $30 to replace my 12v box. Also, the cord and end that connects to the cigarette lighter box gets very hot and burned me the first time I used it have used. The kettle itself appeared to be of good quality but the electrical wiring is obviously cheap and not up to safety standards. Do not buy. Rather, I recommend buying an inverter and a low-wattage kettle to connect it.
