My cat loves cardboard scratching posts and I recently bought her a Petfusion Jumbo Cat Lounge and found that while she enjoys lounging on it she spends most of her time in it Scratches on the vertical side walls of the cabin. So I decided to buy a vertical cardboard scraper. It was easy to set up, and the moment I got her to dip her claws in, she was hooked. She ripped off her top half in just a week! That's when I realized what it was. REALLY not worth the price. The cardboard itself is not of very good quality and is easy to shred. Of course I just flipped it vertically after the top half rubbed off, but then what was the point of the bent end? Not only that, the curved end makes the back completely unusable unless you have a saw that can cut straight through. I have no doubt that this was done on purpose in such a way that you would have to buy a replacement instead of using both sides of the scraper. And all that for $30? Not only that, for some reason she doesn't like the inverted scraper as much as she does in the original position. Maybe it's just cat stuff, but I also think that if it flexes, it has to do with the quality of the cardboard. I would buy it again if it was $20 or less, but at the current price it's just not worth buying again. although my cat loves it (literally) down to the last detail. Either fix the design so it's not crooked or lower the price.
