As a woman, I am very happy with this purchase! I've been looking for a similar product for a long time. After reading countless reviews of both men's and women's shavers/trimmers I have come to the conclusion that the Philips body groomer was number one in a long list and having used it a number of times I can tell you with confidence he really is the best and I can't enjoy your purchase! This razor is of incredible quality and feels like it was made to last, not cheap like many others. The loading time is more than enough for me, and I had no problems running out of juice while shaving. This is much faster than using a standard razor, saves a lot more time and makes shaving/trimming much more efficient. It's incredibly easy to clean and I found the instructions that came with it to be detailed and easy to follow, especially as this is my first time using a similar product. I've used both the trimmer side and the razor side and both work great for their intended purpose. If you're new to using a product like me, I recommend testing the end of the trimmer first to become familiar with how it works. The razor/trimmer glides over the skin like butter and shaves/trims without you even feeling that the hair is being shaved/trimmed. I thought at first it wouldn't work because I didn't feel anything, but to my surprise he cut/shaved his hair and I didn't even feel it! Not pulling or tugging at your hair is a common complaint/problem with other shavers and trimmers on the market, particularly those that are "made for women" as I've found in my research. For me, the fact that this razor/trimmer is designed to shave anywhere on the back of the neck, wet or dry is a game changer, especially since for someone with a chronic condition, showering takes a lot of energy so you can shave anywhere .without having to go through the whole process. Showering and no razor burn with a standard dry razor was amazing! Ladies, if you have any doubts about purchasing this and worried it may not work for you as it is designed for men, PLEASE don't hesitate! What I found in my research is probably not surprising: women's equivalents of these types of products are cheaply made, poorly designed, ineffective, and have a short shelf life. They aren't made to last, they don't do the job, and I've read a lot of reviews from women about shavers/trimmers that tug and tug on hair to remove it. DO NOT settle for them or think you're going to stick with them just because these are the only options on the market that are "made for women". If you're not sure if this product works as well for women as it does for men, I'm here to tell you it WORKS and will exceed your expectations! It does exactly what it's supposed to do, imagine that! Extremely well built, great value, durable, no tugging or pulling on hair when removing and perfect for BOTH genders! Also, I have small hands and although this product is designed for men, it fits comfortably and naturally in my hand and is very easy to hold and use from any angle. Final Verdict If you are looking for a reliable, versatile, high quality, ergonomic, well built and efficient trimmer/shaver that is built to last and does exactly what it was designed to do for both men and women, look no further further! You will not be disappointed! It may be a bit more expensive than other similar products on the market but you are really paying for quality and I can assure you this shaver/trimmer is worth every penny! Not to mention that you can also purchase this product with an interchangeable head and body at no additional cost. Buy it, I promise you won't regret it! I only wish I had found it sooner!
