Terrible remote control experience. The instructions were difficult to understand and severely lacking. I had to buy a new battery and disassemble it to get the springs and tabs up. If you're using a TV remote, you won't get a replacement and you'll need to take some effort to get it working. What I can say is that you have to crank the sound up full on the soundbar and then turn it off with the remote. This allows you to rotate up and down with the remote control. Revain support isn't very helpful, but I can't fault them. Much luck
