Well! I recommend trying it.

I love the paper in this watercolored travel journal. I compared several books and papers: my old Moleskin watercolor magazine (I don't know how they are today); Pentalic Art Watercolor Journal; Stillman & Birn Gamma softcover; Pentalic Wired Watercolor Field Book; Hahnemühle watercolor book; Indigo Artpapers Watercolor Wiropad. (100% cotton); Strathmore 500 Series Mixed Media Softcover (100% cotton); Fabriano Artistico Ex.White "Enhanced” Rough Block (100% cotton) (horrible texture, would never buy again, wouldn't recommend); Fabriano Artistico Eg White Rough Block (100% cotton) sheets 140 cold-pressed and rough-pressed pads (100% cotton); Arches 90lb coarsely pressed paper (100% cotton). Cotton"Paper". It can stay wet long enough to charge, but won't puddle on a wet hit. Can make a good dry brush with its moderate texture. Glazes well. Seems to lift well. It has a good degree of whiteness and gives good transparency. Granulating pigments dry during granulation! :) The book is well folded, with a back pocket, marker tape and a nice elastic closure. If you need something that isn't 100% cotton I would recommend trying this.
